Installing a salute to veterans

Colter Gollihugh with Coates Tree Service puts up veterans' banners Tuesday for the Hometown Heroes project along Cerrillos Road as company road dog Soya waits in the cab. Banners went up as businesses volunteered their trucks with the help of the Knights of Columbus. The banners will be installed near the entrances to the city — along Cerrillos Road from Interstate 25 to Airport Road; on St. Francis Drive from Siringo Road to San Mateo Road; and on Alamo Drive at St. Francis, the site of the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
